YES He is. YES He does.

God is holy. He is faithful. He keeps His promises and His word is true. Yes, Yes, Yes!
As we continue our way through the Old Testament we see time and time again these beautiful truths. This week we focus on Moses’ farewell reminder to the people of Israel about God’s covenant and His faithfulness to them. Moses called on the people to be holy and obey only God. If they did this, they would be blessed. If they did not, they would not be blessed.  God kept His promise to give land to the families of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. As the Israelites stood at the edge of the Promised Land, God reminded them of His covenant. He commanded them to be holy and to obey Him, but He knew they would not. God was working out His plan to send Jesus to rescue people from sin and bless the whole earth.

“God does not just predict what will happen. He makes promises, and fulfills all he promises.” -John Piper

Impact on Wednesday was awesome!  We played a few games.  We prayed. We worshiped in song. We heard God's truth. We had fun. I know I speak for the leaders as well, when I say we love your kiddos and look forward to serving them each week. :)

This week, in Grace Kids, Preschool and at Impact we continue our journey through the Bible using The Gospel Project® for Kids and examine the rules that God gave His people for how to worship Him in the tabernacle. God required sacrifices from the people when they sinned. The book of Hebrews tells us that the sacrifices themselves did not save the people, but it was their faith in the Sacrifice of Jesus who was to come that saved them.
Help your kids realize that Jesus it the ultimate and perfect Sacrifice and salvation is  found in Him alone.
